Massingello, who made his Hornets debut Friday in a doubleheader against Loyola Marymount, exploded on seven pitches in eight at-bats.

Massingello was hit three times in Game 1, but was hit four times in his at-bat in Game 2. Masziello said his hit-by-pitch (HBP) didn't feel “malicious.”
“Baseball is a game full of surprises, and this one was right in the books,” Masciangelo said. MLB.com. “As fate would have it, I always found my way to first base without swinging the bat. Maybe it was my stance or the pitcher's game plan that got me inside, but either way it was a rare on-base hit. It was a way.”
