‘Yellowstone’ Creator Taylor Sheridan Slams Vegans In Epic Joe Rogan Interview

“Yellowstone” co-creator Taylor Sheridan finally gave an interview Thursday on Joe Rogan's podcast.

Despite being the most successful television and film screenwriter at this point in history, Taylor Sheridan doesn't shy away from the spotlight. He is currently in the midst of one of the largest development deals in history with Paramount+. His projects include the “Yellowstone'' series (“1883'', “1923''), but he also has numerous other shows, all of which have featured A-list actors in leading and supporting roles. Masu. But there's one type of person Sheridan doesn't want to deal with. It's ethical veganism.

There are countless things to talk about, epic episode One of the most hilariously brutal moments of “The Joe Rogan Experience” focused on Sheridan's disdain for hypocrisy.

“I think one of the most absurd positions anyone can take is to say they're vegan for ethical reasons. That's ridiculous. You could also do it for medical reasons. I don't know what that reason is. “I don't know if that's the case, but maybe you can't process meat or protein that way. But it's stupid to do it for ethical reasons,” Sheridan said (in a good way). I spit it out like a cowboy. “And the reason I say that is because I plowed the field. It's a carnage. It's a 12-foot carnage. And every plant you eat is plowed into the ground in some capacity. So you're going to kill everything…People need to understand and you have to take responsibility.”

Rogan agreed, citing an interview with Ted Nugent where the two discussed how vegans actually kill more animals indirectly than the meat industry. (Related: Everything you need to know about 'Yellowstone' creator Taylor Sheridan's 2024 cast on the show)

“If you look at any part of the ecosystem, remove humans from it. Virtually everything lives at the expense of other organisms, and when certain weeds grow on top of grass, the grass It’s drying up,” Sheridan continued. “These little seedlings are growing on top of the grass and are killing the grass. If the grass grows before the weeds, the weeds will die… There is no such thing as vegan fish or vegetarian fish. All fish. , all frogs eat other organisms to survive. To each their own.”
