Fox Business Congress reporter Hilary Vaughn confronted Democrat Jasmine Crockett on Wednesday night for refusing to apologize to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for laughing at his physical disabilities.
Crockett was scrutinized for naming Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels,” considering that Texas governor was paralyzed from his waist at the age of 26 after a tree fell on his back and spent decades in a wheelchair. When Vaughn pushed Crockett, lawmakers insisted she didn’t need to apologize because she spoke publicly about her comments.
“I didn’t apologise, are you planning to apologize?” asked Vaughn.
“Why do you apologize when you make a statement?” Crockett replied. “My statement was clear.”

“When he was in a wheelchair, you called him the ‘Governor Hot Wheels’,” Vaughn continued. “Do you understand how it’s uncomfortable for people?”
“I don’t know why I need to repeat this with you,” Crockett said.
“Yes, but why not apologize?” Vaughn pushed against her as Crockett told her to read her statement. “I read that. [There was] There is no apology. Don’t you feel uncomfortable teasing someone in a wheelchair? ”
Visibly disgusted, Crockett flees the conversation by saying she “ends together” with questions.
In her statement, Crockett further said that President Donald Trump’s supporters were “crowded” for showing anger towards her remarks and accused them of diverting the public from real issues.
“Literally, the next line I said was that he was “hot a** confused” and referring to his terrible policies. There was no mention or hint of his condition. So I was even more appalled by the current furious outrage of Trump, known by his disabled, racially poor nickname.

Republican Texas Rep. Randy Weber has announced his plan to introduce a resolution denounced Crockett for appearing to laugh at Abbott’s obstacles.
