The contest is open to adults 18 years of age or older who are registered voters in Maricopa County, and children 17 years of age or younger who are enrolled in a Maricopa County school or homeschool equivalent. contained.

The Recorder's Office will narrow down the entries to 10 finalists in each category, after which the public will vote on those designs.
