‘You’re The Only One Raising Your Voice’: Scarborough Snaps At Mika As She Claims People Need To Stop Panicking

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough filmed his wife, Mika Brzezinski, on Friday trying to stop people from panicking over President Joe Biden's debate performance.

Biden appeared to lack energy and spoke in a husky voice during his debate with former President Donald Trump, causing panic among Democrats and liberal media pundits ahead of the 2024 election. Brzezinski called on debate commissioners to “calm down” over the president's performance and to hesitate about suggesting Biden be replaced by another candidate.

“Okay, okay, hold on a second. I agree with everything you said. [Mike Barnicle] “I said that except for that last part. Let's calm down guys, let's tell you why. There's no need to distort what happened last night. He had a bad night,” Brzezinski said.

“By the way, Micah, everything's pretty calm here,” Scarborough said.

“No, but,” Brzezinski added.

“You're the only one raising your voice,” Scarborough said. “Everybody's calm here.” (Related article: Joe Scarborough calls Biden's debate performance “the worst in modern politics.”)

“But again, this needs to be immediately retracted, ended and we'll find somebody else,” Brzezinski said.

“Mike didn't say that,” Scarborough countered.

“The attitude on this is what I'm saying is, let's take it slow. Again, there's no excuses. But let's have some balance. The media world has become so unbalanced and so loud that we've become indifferent to the differences between these two candidates. Let's once again show some balance,” she continued.

Scarborough again interrupted Brzezinski, saying there was no need to panic to understand the risks of Biden being the nominee.

Two aides said he had a cold during the debate but had not mentioned the illness beforehand.

The president's age and mental capacity have become central concerns for voters, including a majority of Democrats, ahead of the 2024 election, with liberal media reporting after the debate that Biden had failed to prove he was fit to serve a second term.
