The Criminals continued to struggle in the final stages, and the Rockets pulled away in the second half.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Yuma men's basketball (9-6) lost to Moon Valley (12-9) 91-77 at home Thursday night.
Although the final score meant a blowout loss, Yuma was able to keep Moon Valley's pace early.
The Criminals trailed by two points following a big scoring spree in the first quarter.
But by the end of the third quarter, the Krims trailed 72-59.
Thursday's loss was the sixth of the last seven games.
Yuma's next chance to get back on track will come Friday at the Greenway.
