Yuma County’s recognition ceremony celebrates its employees

Yuma County, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Yuma County Annual Employee Awards Ceremony honored and recognized the outstanding contributions of its employees in 2022.

Here is a list of employees who have been recognized for their achievements:

  • Yuma County Employee of the Year: Robert Trevilcock, Deputy Public Defender, Public Defender. Trevilcock’s extraordinary accomplishments above and beyond his duties have contributed greatly to our county. His hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and Yuma County is grateful for his exceptional service.
  • Court Staff of the Year: Henry “Beau” Gonzalez, Probation Services Supervisor, Juvenile Justice Center. Gonzales’ dedication to upholding the integrity of the court earned him this prestigious award. His extraordinary achievements in the court system are testament to his commitment to excellence.
  • Safety Excellence Award: Minnie Samaniego, Court Operations Manager, Justice of the Peace 2. Samaniego’s contribution to safety culture is significant, demonstrating its commitment to creating a safe and healthy work environment for all. Her efforts have helped Yuma County maintain a high level of safety.
