WELLTON, Arizona (Kessey, Kima) – The 6th Annual Tour DE Field will be held on Saturday, offering cyclists a unique opportunity to support local charities while exploring the vibrant agricultural landscape of Uma Valley. Masu. Hosted by the Yuma Regional Bicycle Union, the event features four carefully selected routes for cyclists of all ages, abilities and experience levels.
Riders can even pedal through Yuma Valley fields, pass through crops and witness produce that are actively harvested. The event is designed to showcase the rich agricultural diversity of the region and identifies a variety of crops grown with customized signs along the route.
But this ride is more than just cycling. That’s a return. All net income from the event includes several locals including Crossroads Mission, Mikid, Proverbs 31 Home Support for Victims of Domestic Abuse, and scholarships for local students with degrees from the University of Arizona It benefits charities.
Jean Dalby of the Yuma Regional Bicycle Union spoke about the importance of the event, saying, “Riding a bike is a real opportunity for people to go out and see the beauty of the Yuma County region.” There are many here.
