Yuma High School’s volleyball season starts by the end of August.
Yuma will open the 2023 season at home to the Sydney Red Raiders on Saturday 26 August.
The former Indians will face Akron at home to Lower Platte on Sept. 14. Lower Platt shows off his usual gauntlets. The league has produced his two state champions in 2022, Class 1A Merino and Class 2A Sedgwick County. The showdown with rival Ray will take place on October 13th in Yuma.
The only tournament on the schedule this year appears to be the September 23rd tournament in Akron. Yuma will make two out-of-state trips in early September to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and Chase County (Imperial), Nebraska.
Non-league opponents include Blush, Resurrection Christian and Northridge.
There will be four Fridays with volleyball before football games: September 29th against Wiggins, October 6th against Burlington, October 13th against Raye and October 20th against Holyoke. be.
