Art in the Park will be held on January 12th and 13th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Get outdoors and experience local artwork.

Art in the Park is an outdoor art festival hosted by the Yuma Art Center located in scenic Gateway Park.

The event will feature dozens of local and regional artists along the banks of the Colorado River.

Enjoy a lazy afternoon in the park surrounded by various art exhibits, enjoying live music, lawn games, and lively booze.

“I can be passionate about art all day long, and when people come in and are so interested and knowledgeable about what they're doing, and you can talk to them in depth, it's great that you It's not something you get to do every day when you're working.''It's so much fun to go shopping and take the kids to school. I’ve only sat in it twice,” said local artist Christy Nichols.

Admission is $1 per person per day, and children 6 and under are free. Dogs on leads are also welcome!
