Graham County, Arizona — update: The girl was in South Carolina

Authorities continue to search for a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on March 20 in Graham County.

According to the Graham County Sheriff’s Office, the girl told her father that she was going for a walk around 11 a.m., and by around 6 p.m. she still hadn’t returned, and the family began looking for her.

Her family reported her missing to the GCSO shortly after 8pm the same day.

The GCSO asks anyone with information to assist in this ongoing investigation to call 928-428-3141 or 911 for urgent assistance.
