More than 100 Democrats voted against a bill aimed at deporting illegal immigrants caught driving under the influence (DUI).

According to The Hill, the bill recommends that police officers look at a person's past criminal history and “evidence of rehabilitation” when considering whether to deport a person. It encourages authorities to focus on targeting illegal immigrants who are considered a threat to public safety or a threat to national security or border security.
