2025 Yavapai County Mental Health Conference to Explore the Eight Dimensions of Wellness | Prescott Valley Times local news

Most of us answer the wellness question, “How are you?” It’s probably true except for the half-baked “great” and the same response from others, but what does that mean really good? Taking time to understand wellness and what it means to us, others are the goals of this year’s 2025 Yabapai County Mental Health Conference.

The meeting’s theme is “exploring health dimensions,” where attendees learn how to navigate and connect to resources through multiple aspects of wellness to balance themselves and other dimensions. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA). To truly succeed, we must strive to have healthy social, emotional, mental, intellectual, physical, environmental, economic and professional happiness.

“We’ve seen a lot of people who have had a lot of trouble with us,” said James Tobin, Community Health Services Section Manager for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Programming. “Using this event, this event will showcase a diverse array of perspectives and insights, strengthening mental health support and reinforce mental health.

The event will be held at Prescott Resort on Wednesday and Thursday, July 16th and 17th, 2025.
