50K fentanyl pills recovered by police in Yavapai County

Yavapai County, Arizona — Nearly 50,000 fentanyl pills were recently seized in Yavapai County during two separate traffic outages that occurred within 30 minutes near Camp Verde.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Marco Seja Partida, 35, of California said he was taken into custody last week after a large amount of drugs were found in his car.

About 40,000 fentanyl-filled pills and eight pounds of methamphetamine were seized from the suspect’s vehicle, according to YCSO.

Thirty minutes after Marco Ceja-Partida was taken into custody, the YCSO reported finding more fentanyl pills during another traffic stop. Phoenix’s Hector Ramirez Galvez, 26, was arrested after YCSO allegedly found his 15,000 tablets in his car. Both suspects were booked into prison.
