72nd Annual Yuma County Fair comes to town

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The 72nd annual Yuma County Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd.

The fair officially begins in less than 24 hours!

Today, we got a sneak peek at what will be on offer when the fair opens on Tuesday.

I walked around the various rides, vendors, and performances that all visitors could enjoy.

Speaking of food, come prepared to eat!

I stopped into Old West Cinnamon Rolls to speak with manager Alexis Parkhart about her delicious cinnamon roll treats.

“We have a ton of toppings. We have the classic cream cheese frosting. We also have maple, bacon, cherry and nut,” Parkhart said.

We also spoke with Entertainment Director Terry Godfrey, who told us that the fair offers something different every day.

“Come on out and enjoy yourself. Hopefully you'll come a few times. There will be several shows here but you won't be able to see every show every day. And of course, there will be a band or two playing on the main stage every night so you'll enjoy the music. After that there will be loads of entertainment to walk around and enjoy. I think you'll be amazed at how much entertainment we have this year,” Godfrey said.

This event is suitable for all ages, so come along with your friends and family from Tuesday 2nd April until Sunday 7th April.

Doors open at 3 p.m. Tuesday. For tickets and show times, here.
