Mohave County detectives seek information on 1989 cold case

Mojave County officials confirmed the discovery of a woman’s body in 1989 and are now looking into the details of a man who may have been involved in her murder.

Investigators used DNA analysis to identify Marina Ramos of Bakersfield, California, who was 28 at the time. She was last seen in August 1989 and her body was found in Old Her Temple Bar Road off White Hills Road in December of that year.

Authorities also point out that two young daughters, Elizabeth Lisa Ramos and Jasmine Maria Ramos, are also missing.
