Trump Approves Deadly Attack on Third Drug Boat, Resulting in Three Deaths of Drug Traffickers

Trump Orders Military Strike on Drug Traffickers

On Friday, President Trump revealed in a post on True Society that he had authorized a military strike targeting a drug trafficker linked to organized crime within the jurisdiction of the US Southern Command. The operation resulted in the deaths of three men identified as “narcotelorists.”

“Under my directive, the Secretary of War executed a lethal attack against vessels owned by recognized terrorist organizations involved in narcotics trafficking in the US Southcom region,” he stated. “We had intelligence confirming that these vessels were responsible for distributing illegal drugs, thereby harming Americans along established trafficking routes.”

The military action represented a continuation of intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking from Venezuela to the U.S. This marked the third strike of this kind in the past month. In February, the Trump administration had previously classified certain drug cartels, including Tren de Aragua, Cartel de los Sales, and the Sinaloa Cartel, as foreign terrorist entities.

According to the U.S. military’s assessment, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his regime are closely associated with Cartel de los Sales, posing a significant threat to the United States. In August, Maduro reportedly stated that he would defend his country against what he described as the “strange and strange threat of a declining empire.”

The State Department has also announced a $25 million reward for information leading to Nicolas Maduro’s arrest or conviction.
