House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Ohio, and other Republican committee members are holding their latest hearings on Thursday at the southern border, titled “The Biden Border Crisis.”

The session will take place at City Hall in Yuma, Arizona, approximately five miles east of the Colorado River. The Colorado River loosely follows a short stretch of the Mexican border in the southwestern corner of Arizona.

Speakers include the Yuma County Sheriff, a member of the county’s governing body, and the president and CEO of the Yuma Regional Medical Center, each providing updates on current immigration law enforcement and services .

The hearing, which will not be attended by Democratic lawmakers, is one of several hearings held at the border by various House committees. narrowing, following policy changes from the Biden administration earlier this week.
