Thrilling professional rodeo family entertainment returns to the Rodeo Grounds at SARA Park March 24-26.
The Lake Havasu Stampede is a nationally recognized event featuring the big names of the rodeo world in three action-packed performances. The action takes place under the lights on Fridays and Saturdays, with performances at 7:00 PM and additional matinee performances on Sundays at 3:00 PM.
At 9:30 am on Sunday, everyone is invited to Cowboy Church.
All three rodeo performances will feature top professional rodeo athletes to wrap up the season at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in December.
The Stampede features standard PRCA rodeo events for bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping and bull riding, as well as women’s pro rodeo events for breakaway roping and barrel racing.
In addition to the professional events held, the popular Mutton Bastin, or Sheep Horse Ride for children ages 4-7 and under 80lbs, runs all three days.

The Lake Havasu Stampede is produced by Honeycutt Rodeo and Gold Spur Productions. For longtime rodeo fans in the area, Honeycutt Rodeo is no stranger to hosting excellent events in the area and showcasing his athletes at the top of the farm animals.
The Lake Havasu Stampede will feature the top Honeycut Rodeo winners of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo.
In addition to the fantastic rodeo competition, the Lake Havasu Stampede is packed with top-notch entertainment, including trick rider Madison McDonald Thomas from “Magic in Motion.”
