A series of property owners in the county were mailed their value notices for the 2024 tax year at the end of February. These valuations help determine the taxable limited property value.

The value of manufactured homes rose 28.5% compared to the 2023 tax year, according to the statement. Manufactured homes are typically seen as an affordable alternative to traditional single-family homes, especially for seniors and low-income individuals.

As for single-family homes, their values ​​have risen overall over the past 11 years, including 2024, but slowed down between the 2023 and 2024 valuations, appraisers said.

If someone believes their property was incorrectly valued, the office has until April 25 to file an appeal with the county.More than 1.6 million notices have been sent, with the office nearly 26,000 more than last year. said.
