Man accused in Olathe hotel killing caught in Arizona, brought back to Johnson County

After being arrested in February in Arizona, a 57-year-old man charged with murdering a woman in an Oleis hotel room on Saturday has been incarcerated at the Johnson County Jail.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, Franklin Bluelake is being held on a $1 million bond after Johnson County prosecutors charged him with first-degree murder on Feb. 2. He is accused of murdering Gardner Rhoda Morgan, 53, on the 29th.

Bluelake has been in police custody for the past month after being arrested in Coconino County, about 150 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona.
