SAFFORD — “If you had one application, you would want it,” says supervisor Danny Smith.
At Tuesday’s meeting, the Graham County Board of Supervisors unanimously decided to appoint Cindi Orr to fill the remaining two years of the current term as Graham County Treasurer.
Supervisor John Howard said, “I think she’s doing a great job there.
The board was tasked with appointing a new treasurer following the announcement that elected official Mary Bingham would retire on February 27.
Mr. Orr was the only one to apply for the appointment, according to County Manager Dustin Welker. She is currently working in an accounting firm as a Financial Accounting Technician.
Orr starts his new job on February 27th and will work until December 31st, 2024.
