Parts of Flagstaff under shelter-in-place order as monsoon storms hit Coconino County

Flagstaff, Arizona (3TV/CBS 5) – Flash flood warning in effect for parts of Gila and Yavapai counties until 12:00 a.m. Severe thunderstorms in place for parts of Yavapai county until 8:00 p.m.

Evacuation orders have been issued for the following areas of Coconino County: Cheshire, Coconino Estate, Clayton Estate, Coyote Springs, Anasazi Ridge, and Rio de Flagg. County officials are advising everyone to stay vigilant and prepare to evacuate or move to higher ground as soon as possible.

Flash flood warning in effect for Flagstaff and surrounding areas until 4pm

Flash floods are expected in areas devastated by the museum fire, including Mount Elden Estates, Paradise, Grandview, and Sunnyside.
