Josh Felker, owner of the LoneStar Handgun at 2 Amendment Way, has shared photos and video of a woman he says stole an MP5 submachine gun around 2 p.m. Friday.

After renting a machine gun, the woman climbed out of her Lone Star handgun into a late-model white Ford Ranger Extended Cab and drove off, Felker said.

Felker said the driver’s license belonged to someone who died in a car fire in December 2022 and was found to resemble the victim.
“We have policies in place to prevent theft, including trigger locks on rentals, valid ID retained during rentals, and use of credit cards for transactions. I did not comply and received the cash,” Völker said in an email.
The woman also provided a fake phone number and email address, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
