Gila County – Inspirational teachers have made a huge impact on your life, your education, or perhaps your career choices. . . Did you know there’s a way to spotlight and honor that dedicated and unforgettable educator? There’s still time – Gila County Teacher of the Year, an annual recognition hosted by the Gila County School Superintendent’s Office Nominations will be accepted until Sunday, April 30th.

Anyone can nominate a teacher who has helped change the course of a student’s life. Students, parents, fellow educators, district administrators, district employees, and community members are encouraged to nominate the best educators in Gila County.

The Gila County Teacher of the Year Award will receive a $500 award, plus countywide recognition and recognition. This award recognizes excellence in education by recognizing K-12 professional educators from public and charter schools who have made outstanding academic contributions to Gila County schoolchildren.

This award is an important opportunity to increase the value of Gila County’s leading educators.

Over the past year, teachers have had to be creative in finding innovative ways to keep their children educated. All teachers should be recognized for these achievements, even if they don’t win Teacher of the Year. Gila County will honor them for all their efforts.

The Gila County Department of Education Services is proud to sponsor the Gila County Teacher of the Year Awards. The deadline for nomination forms and letters is Sunday, April 30th at 5:00 pm.
