Biden Appears To Claim He Ran For President While He Was VP

President Joe Biden appeared to claim Friday that he was running for president while serving as vice president.

“I ran for president for fundamental reasons,” Biden said at an event in Rocky Mount, N.C., where Dr. Jill Biden also spoke. “I never intended to run for president again.” (Related article: Top Democratic congressman praises standing up after Biden’s downfall: ‘Pretty good’)

“I ran for vice president, then Barack and I spent eight years together, and then a new administration came into being, and things changed in our lives and in our family during that time.” continued Biden. “I lost my son. We lost our son in Iraq. Anyway, I wasn’t going to run.”

Biden did not run for president in the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections when he was vice president of the United States. Biden announced in October 2015 that he would not win the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2016 election, which was won by Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Biden also reiterated claims that his son Bo died in Iraq when he actually died in Delaware in 2015 from brain cancer. President Biden has claimed that exposure to burn pits in Iraq was the cause of the cancer that caused the former Delaware Attorney General to collapse. .
