This is analogous to the more obvious benefits that false minorities derive from their status. Minority identities, by virtue of their historical oppression, occupy a privileged position in American society, allowing them to assert radical policy positions virtually without challenge.

Consider, for example, the leader of the Black Lives Matter movement. They could call for the overthrow of capitalism while fanning months of riots. Those who criticized the agenda were quickly neutralized on charges of racism, which is now the worst accusation faced in American life.
