Joe Biden Wrote Personal Letter To Devon Archer In Early Days Of Business Partnership With Hunter

Vice President Joe Biden apparently sent a personal letter to Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer at the start of his partnership with his son.

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson asked Archer about the Jan. 20, 2011 letter that included Biden’s apology for not being able to speak to Archer at the luncheon. The vice president at the time said he could not escape the hospitality of former Chinese President Hu Jintao, but that he would like to meet with Mr. Archer and his son in the near future.

The letter read: “Dear Devin, I apologize for not having the opportunity to speak at the luncheon yesterday. I hope you enjoyed your lunch. Thank you for coming.”

Biden ended the letter with a handwritten note saying, “I’m happy you guys are together.”

“What was he grateful to you for?” Carlson asked Archer in an exclusive interview published Wednesday. (Related: Tucker meets with Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer)

“First of all, this is a lovely letter. And… listen, this is kind of the beginning of our partnership and he thanked me and ultimately this government regulatory strategy advisory business. I think he also thanked Hunter for bringing him the idea.” I think he was intrigued by the world of private equity and excited about the future of Hunter. he just thanked me. He was a great gesture,” said Archer.

Carlson said Biden was alleged to have spoken about foreign business dealings as vice president, even though he wasn’t authorized to do so.

Archer testified before the House Oversight Committee at a hearing on Monday about his overseas business dealings with Hunter. Archer told the commission that Hunter had called his father more than 20 times over the past decade at meetings and dinners with foreign business people.

Archer told Carlson that Biden may have been aware of business people surrounding his son during part of the call.

Biden denied having any knowledge or involvement in his son’s business dealings prior to the 2020 presidential election. The FD-1023 form handed to Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley by a Justice Department whistleblower shows the owner of Ukrainian energy company Burisma to have Mr. was accused of bribing Hunter with $5 million.

The documents revealing the bribery allegations refer to Mr. Biden as “a great man.” In testimony Monday, Archer admitted Hunter had referred to his father as “my man” to foreign business people. Archer also testified that he and Hunter were hired to serve on Burisma’s board because they believed the company would benefit the “Biden brand.”

On March 1, 2022, Manhattan Judge Ronnie Abrams sentenced Archer to one year in prison for fraud against Native American tribes.
