Every Villain Wants The Same Thing: Control

Our family just enjoyed a weekend at Disneyland. We love the happiest place on earth and the opportunity to take it easy, spend time together, and play with our granddaughters. On this trip, I found myself comparing fairy tales and the real world.

Does art imitate life, or does life follow art?

Something that has always stuck out in my mind is that in every Disney story, the villain is trying to control others in some way. The evil queen in Snow White seeks to take the lives of people who simply want to enjoy the beauty of love, freedom, and happiness. The evil sorcerer just wants to enslave or kill people living their lives. Some of the villains are male, some are female, and there are also dragons and snakes.

Regardless of form, the only thing they have is What they have in common is the desire to control and take something from someone who has not caused them any harm.. I couldn't help but think back to how I felt this way from time to time, simply as a responsible, armed citizen who wanted to protect and defend what I love.

Those who seek to chip away at our freedom to keep and bear arms are seeking something like the same type of control over your life and mine. Often it has a “beautiful face” or is dressed in some fashion, which makes it difficult to agree with. They call it “smart gun laws” and “common sense gun control,” and they say it's “for kids.”

In the world of Disney and fairy tales, antagonists and adversaries often use clever language and rhetoric to cast spells and trick well-intentioned people into unconsciously agreeing. Similarly, those who seek to restrict gun ownership are like modern-day pipers, invading the words spewed from the mouths of our favorite people by sounding sirens. hollywood actors and energetic young politicians. And those of us who are not under its spell are often portrayed as narrow-minded social outcasts. love our guns more than our kids.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, more than 2.5 million times each year. People armed responsibly save lives.. I own and carry a gun for the express purpose of protecting my life and the lives of those I love.In this battle of intellect and willhow can we, the guardians of truth, not voluntarily join together? doll thread And become one of the bobblehead marionettes of rights restrictors? How can we save our children and our children's children? drink poison We will end distorted history and protect this and the next generation from descending the steep steps into the dungeon. gun control lie?

To break this spell, all you have to do is keep asking (and answering) one small word. “Why?” Why? constitution? Why did the founding fathers bill of rights? Why do we do this? 27 words of the second amendment Include the clause “''.must not be violated”? Exactly why did it happen? first gun control law happen? And why do the loudest voices seeking to limit your right to self-defense come from just such people? protected by armed guards They and their children 24 hours a day? If guns are bad, why do these people rely on them to protect themselves? Just keep asking why, and you'll soon see smoke and mirrors, half-truths, emotional manipulation, and outright lies begin to evaporate into illusions of truth.

You and I just want to live the American hope. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We want to build a little hut, cut the strings of our dolls, and realize the promise of a future full of freedom. It is important that we keep our eyes on the north star of truth, lest we too fall prey to the curse of those who wish us to fall into a deep sleep of indifference and enslave us under the heavy shoes of oppression. . We must know the truth and continually plant seeds of truth. every day we shield of wisdom And please teach the next generation how to use the sword of truth. Because there are many villains, villains are loud, and they all want the same thing: control.
