Wyoming Republican Sen. John Barrasso on Tuesday endorsed former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election.
Barrasso appeared on “Hannity” to discuss major issues facing the United States and criticize President Joe Biden's policies. The Wyoming senator began comparing the Trump and Biden administrations, stressing that Biden “continues to fail America” with his policies.
Barrasso went on to say that the United States cannot “endure four more years” of Biden's “failures.” The senator noted that we need “strong” Republicans in the House, Senate and White House to get the country “back on track.” He then endorsed Trump. “The people of Wyoming, and of course our viewers, know that Joe Biden continues to fail America, even though this country has gotten so much better under President Donald Trump. “You know, when President Trump was president, I was in the best economic position I've been in in most of my life,” Barrasso said.
“We were energy self-sufficient. Our enemies feared us and we had secure borders. And now, under Joe Biden, prices are high. We 's border is wide open. What happened at the border, the surrender at the border, allowed 8 million illegal immigrants into this country. Joe Biden begs the enemy for fuel and energy. I’m going to go and do it. This is a disaster.”
