On Wednesday, an incredible video of “Snownado” went viral on social media, and it's so beautiful to watch.
The year of strange weather is here again, starting with an unusual “snow” hitting the slopes of Breckenridge, Colorado, according to a video. share From ABC News. Although this video technically shows a “snow devil,” it's still pretty cool (definitely a joke) and unlike anything we've seen in nature in a while.
The event stunned onlookers, with sounds of “owing” and “aaaaaa” being heard as crowds glided over the slopes and skiers climbed steeply.

Of course, ABC News decided to give the first part of the video a ridiculous caption so you can't even see the object moving properly. This isn't the first 'snownado' to hit the US Back in 2022, one of the ice monsters was caught on camera in Idaho. according to To News & Observer. Although the Colorado and Idaho examples are both technically just snow demons, snow-based tornadoes do exist.
On November 23, 2013, a supercell thunderstorm formed in southern Ontario, Canada, producing a short EF1 tornado filled with ice crystals. according to to the National Weather Service. Guys, this is a real “Snowado”.
