Six people arrested, several cited following Mohave County bust

MOHAVE COUNTY (KTNV) — At least six people have been arrested and charged by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

According to the police, in August, a man reported that someone had broken into his home and stolen his car, tools, electronic equipment, jewelry, and mail. He added that the house had been vacant for several months.

Authorities said a follow-up investigation led them to a residence in the 10000 block of South Queens Road in Mojave Valley, Arizona.

Police announced that during a search of the home, they found several items stolen during the robbery and arrested Jazzmen Hickstein, 29, who investigators say was involved in the robbery. Department officials said two other robbery suspects were still outstanding as of Wednesday.

While at the home, officers also found drugs and drug paraphernalia and arrested five people who are currently facing various charges. They include 32-year-old Tiffany Kebschul, 59-year-old Leslie Lahew, 54-year-old Tracy Smith, 42-year-old Derrick Wilhelm and 48-year-old Richard Heilman. They are all from the Mojave Valley.

Deputies said two of those suspects and one other person were also charged with various animal-related crimes.

When Mohave County law enforcement officials arrived at the home, they observed several property violations. However, as of Wednesday, those violations had not been disclosed. The Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force assisted in identifying vehicles in various states of repair, and several vehicles were also towed from the property.
