Days before New Hampshire's Republican primary, a video was released purporting to show the veteran confronting Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley during a Saturday handshake event at a local Chick-fil-A.

“Do you think politicians are responsible for spending hundreds of millions on TV ads to news stations that have lied to us for years, mostly in Iowa, when there are homeless veterans who could use that money? ?'' the unidentified man in the video asks Haley, laughing, after she encourages him to vote for her.
“When we didn't even come close to defeating Trump?” she added, interrupting Haley. “Did you spend 100 million on TV advertising?”

“Did you know my husband is a veteran?” Haley responded.
“That's fine, but I'm just saying,” the man continued before being cut off.

“What I'm saying is, you're not going to beat Trump, and all the money you're wasting could be used for a better purpose,” the veteran told Haley. “That would actually make the Republican Party look better.”
Haley has benefited from three super PACs: SFA Fund, Americans for Prosperity, and Independence Moving the Needle, targeting Granite State voters with more than $24 million in media buys. according to told Politico, citing AdImpact analysis.
