President Biden's reelection strategy is coming into focus — attacking Donald Trump, appealing to suburban women with talk about abortion, scaring voters with talk about “threats” to democracy. Is it missing in particular? A victorious discussion of the results of successful policies implemented by the Biden administration. That's not surprising either. Joe Biden's presidency has been a complete failure, leaving America and the American people in a far worse situation than before he took office.
Let's start with the obvious. Joe Biden is the worst president of my lifetime.
During his debate with President Jimmy Carter, then-candidate Ronald Reagan famously spoke. Asked Voters should be asking themselves, “Are we better off than we were four years ago?” Any American who asked themselves this question today would have a hard time answering “yes.”
First, they have been robbed of purchasing power by Biden's inflation, which has reached heights not seen since President Carter took office. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CPI calculator, a basket of goods that cost $100 when Joe Biden took office in January 2021 now costs $117.27. This was the worst inflation rate in Carter's three years in office. This amounts to a secret tax levied on the American people without the benefit of a vote in Congress, meaning that no one but President Biden is responsible for his policy decisions, the one who essentially took money out of his pocket. It means that there is no one.
Additionally, Joe Biden is personally untrustworthy and corrupt. His personal history of lying, embellishment, and broken promises is legendary. He lied about his personal life, he lied about his educational background, he lied about his professional life, he lied about his relationship with his son's business. Testimony before Congress revealed that he has been an active participant in his family's corrupt business practices, despite his denials. He made a conscious decision to open our nation's southern border to invasion by illegal aliens. Since he began his open borders policy, more than 7 million illegal aliens have been encountered at our southern border and released into our nation's interior. Add in the 1.8 million “known fugitives” (individuals we know who evaded arrest when they entered the country illegally), and he adds that the number of fugitives we don't know about is who knows. I don't know either. They brought human trafficking, sex trafficking, drug trafficking. The fentanyl poisoning our sons and daughters, sisters and brothers is coming into America across Biden's open border and contributing to much more. 112,000 deaths The number of drug overdose deaths in 2023 exceeded 112,000 for the first time in a 12-month period.
Biden's disastrous withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021 led directly to the deaths of 13 U.S. servicemen and service members and sent a signal of weakness to America's adversaries abroad. They realized this and took action. Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose troops crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border with impunity eight years ago when Biden was vice president, has sent tens of thousands of troops across the border. dispatched and conducted a new direct attack on Kiev. The war, the largest land battle on European soil since World War II, destroyed Ukraine.
Biden's reversal of the Trump administration's policy toward Iran had similarly disastrous results. Seeking a new nuclear deal with Tehran – It wasn't a good idea when the Obama-Biden administration first pushed for one in 2015, and it's certainly not a good idea in 2021. –Biden brought back veterans from the Obama-Biden era. The regime negotiates with Iranian radicals. In a move toward Iran, Biden halted enforcement of U.S. sanctions on Iranian oil. As a result, Iranian oil exports increased from 775,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day, and Iran further increased its exports. $32 billion to $35 billion, funds that could be used to support Iran's terrorist proxies, according to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Despite the administration's efforts, Iran has refused to return to the inspection regime and instead continues to move toward developing nuclear weapons. However, the Biden administration has announced that the initial $6 billion will be released even though Iran continues to fund and direct terrorist activities against U.S. military personnel and interests, including the deaths of three U.S. service members and the injury of dozens of others. , later deemed it appropriate to release an additional $10 billion for Iran's use. As well as others who were in Jordan last weekend. (Related: Terrence P. Jeffrey: In case you missed it, Biden gave a really head-scratching speech over the weekend)
Biden's woke policies in the military have created the worst draft crisis since the military became volunteer in the 1970s. His pursuit of radical climate change policies ended the era of America's status as a net oil exporter and returned us to dependence on foreign imports. That led to soaring gas prices in the country, giving the adversary some influence and control. It wasn't there before.
Biden's appointment of Merrick Garland as attorney general was just the first step in his plan to weaponize the federal government against his political opponents. The indictment of a leading opposition presidential candidate, the first in American politics, is just one example of that plan being carried out.
It's easy to see why Joe Biden is planning a negative campaign against Donald Trump. Even if he wanted to, he could not run a positive campaign.
