First Lady Jill Biden arrives in Tucson ahead of Arizona List anniversary celebration | Arizona News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – First lady Jill Biden touched down in Tucson as the sun set Friday evening.

Biden's desert stop is part of his “Women for Biden-Harris” tour, which began in Atlanta.

The first lady was met on the tarmac by Pima County Supervisor and Board Chair Adelita Grijalva, who was accompanied by her daughter.

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero was unable to attend as she is currently on a trade trip to Mexico City with Governor Katie Hobbs.

First Lady Jill Biden is scheduled to speak Saturday morning at the 20th anniversary celebration of Arizona List, a political group dedicated to electing pro-choice women across this battleground state.
