Yavapai County, Ariz. — Voters in Yavapai County could receive a second sample ballot on Tuesday after the county's polls close. election bureau We discovered a printer error that affected thousands of sample ballots.

According to a public service announcement from the county, the department's vendor made a printing error on 3,944 sample ballots.

Yavapai County Elections Director Lauryn Custis said registered voters received sample ballots with images depicting their opponent's affiliation. This issue affected both parties equally.

The department plans to mail the amendment to affected households by Tuesday, so don't be surprised if you see another sample ballot in your mailbox.

These sample ballots are not to be used as official ballots under any circumstances and are provided solely to inform voters of what to expect. Sample ballots were not sent to people on the early voter list.
