Biden Bullied Into Saying Laken Riley’s Name, Butchers It

President Joe Biden on Thursday night removed the name of slain Georgia nursing student Laken Riley after being heckled by members of Congress during his State of the Union address.

During the speech, lawmakers could be heard off-screen yelling for Biden to say Laken Riley's name before the crowd began booing the explosion. Biden began referring to the disturbance by repeating the name of the student who died, but she got her first name wrong. “But try changing the dynamics at the border. Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was later seen yelling at Biden as she tried to reassure the crowd as the president continued to talk about the border crisis.

Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, was found dead on the University of Georgia campus after going for a mid-afternoon run. Georgian authorities later identified and charged Venezuelan illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra with Riley's murder.
