Car full of kids crashes in Arizona, 2 killed

Three children were injured in the Friday morning crash, two of whom were taken to a Phoenix hospital.

YUMA, Ariz. — Two teenagers were killed when their car crashed into a brick wall in southern Arizona early Friday morning.

Yuma Police Department Police said the 16-year-old driver was speeding and lost control near 11th Avenue and 14th Street, when the vehicle crashed into a wall, two parked cars and a home.

Spanish version: Several teenagers and three other young people were killed in an Arizona crash after their car collided with another vehicle.

The driver and 18-year-old passenger died at the scene. Three other passengers, two ages 13 and one age 12, were taken to a hospital. Two of the injured children suffered serious injuries and were later flown to Phoenix.

The accident remains under investigation.
