Don Jr. fundraiser in Alabama reportedly nets $1M+ fundraising haul for Trump presidential campaign



On Wednesday in Birmingham, the former president's son, Donald Trump Jr., and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, raised more than $1 million for the 2024 presidential front-runner's campaign. Donald Jr.'s visit to Alabama was a success, hosted at their Mountain Brook home by Bart and Danielle Yancey. The Yanceys, along with fundraiser co-hosts Cliff and Megan Sims, are longtime personal friends of Trump's eldest son, Donald Jr.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman first mentioned the event's impressive one-day harvest in a story that was later confirmed by sources.

The event drew a large crowd including donors, Alabama politicians like Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth, Republican candidates including 2nd Congressional District candidate Carolyn Dobson, and national party heavyweights including Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), who spoke at the event.

Donald Jr. has been stepping up fundraising efforts around the country and is reportedly very pleased with the total amount raised during his visit to Alabama on Wednesday.
