Roving Wave Festival The brainchild of Carpetbag Brigade Director Jay Ruby, this all-ages traveling festival brings free live performance culture to five cities and towns in Yavapai County. The festival showcases the Carpetbag Brigade's acrobatic stilt dancing and new works. “Floatings and Floatings”The festival will also feature a variety of outdoor performance styles from guest artists at the events on July 12th, 13th, 14th and 21st.

Driven by a passion for storytelling and service, Chase Archer has been connecting with audiences through juggling, flow art, and new circus theatre for over a decade. Chase will present two captivating works of his own design: Meg & Thatcher's “OK Apocalypse” aims to heal wounds, set bones, cool fevers, and calm swelling in the midst of our collective trauma through story, song, poetry, movement, and connection.

TBD Show Puppets will comically satirize current living conditions while poking fun at the folly of humanity, and spoken word poets and dancers will also be joining the stage.

On July 20 in Prescott Valley, the Carpetbag Brigade will host participants of Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department summer programs as part of their performance at the Music on the Green summer concert series before Scandalous Hands performs.

At Prescott's edition of the Roving Waves Festival on July 21, Samantha Beasley of Bend Hot Yoga will host a free warm-up yoga class for festival-goers starting at 4:30 p.m. to get them in the mood. The event will conclude with a dance party.

The Carpetbag Brigade is partnering with the Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department's summer program to teach group movement and action as part of their summer theater camp.
