New life could be breathed into the Birmingham Southern College campus if Alabama A&M University, the state's largest historically black college or university (HBCU), is able to acquire the campus. The acquisition could expand Alabama A&M's footprint in Birmingham, reduce strain on its campus in Normal, Alabama, and continue the economic impact the BSC campus has on the Birmingham metropolitan area.

Mayor Tab Bowling and the terrible leadership of the City of Decatur chaos Because of the response to the aftermath of Steve Perkins' death, and now citizens literally threatening violence with no retribution. At a recent city council meeting, angry and irrational citizens like Sierra Taylor threatened the city, saying, “If you don't give us the same peace that we've been giving you, we're done with peace. Have you heard of the Black Militia? Have you heard of the Black Panthers? Did you see what happened to George Floyd? I don't want that to happen in this neighborhood, but if we continue to face this kind of force, they will come here!”
