Jon Stewart used a video montage of President Joe Biden's moments when he wasn't speaking to deliver a scathing critique of his debate performance.
Stewart was hosting a special edition of Comedy Central's “The Daily Show” live following the first presidential debate between Biden and former President Donald Trump on Thursday night.
“We know the standards that each one has been set to pass,” he says. Scythe One candidate said, “Biden shouldn't look old, he shouldn't show any old-man qualities. Go.”
The comedian highlighted one of the most concerning moments during the debate, when President Biden lost his train of thought for an extended period and declared, “We finally defeated Medicare!”
As Biden spoke, the audience could be heard laughing and groaning, before cutting to a visibly dejected Stewart saying, “I'm going to have to call a real estate agent in New Zealand.” (RELATED: Chip Roy says he'll file 25th Amendment resolution to remove Biden from office after debate collapse)

Aside from Biden’s worrying comments during his debate performance (including his false implication of a Border Patrol coalition); I supported him. Stewart asked whether the president looked better when he didn't say anything.
“Why didn't Biden say anything?” he asked.
The footage that followed was a montage of the president appearing to have a blank look on his face, with his mouth open or his head bowed, as he spoke at various times during the debate.
The video then cuts back to Stewart, eyes wide and teeth clenched in a forced smile.
“It's not great,” he said after a long pause, “but a lot of people are taking a gander at the 25th Amendment.” (Related: My seven minutes onstage with Trump were amazing in every way.)

The debate analysts Split Screen Settings The outcome of the debate was devastating for the president, with Trump often appearing engaged and animated in contrast to Biden.
Stewart also used the segment to criticize Trump for statements made during the debate that were deemed false. She played a clip of Trump bragging about his administration. In it, the former president said his administration had overseen “the best economy in American history,” asserted that the administration had an exemplary record on involvement in foreign wars, and claimed that its response to the COVID-19 pandemic was laudable. He also claimed that the Biden administration had helped illegal immigrants and immigrants find jobs. He also bragged about the tax cuts he signed as president.
“I don't have sex with porn stars,” Trump said in the final cut.
“Just to be clear, everything Donald Trump said in that video is a lie,” Stewart said. “It's a blatant, complete lie.”
Biden's debate performance has Democrats debating whether they need to replace him before the November presidential election.
