Media Matters is crazy, but what else is new?

Sorry, Media Matters. This is a reality that even the worst journalists can't escape. And after Biden's debate performance last night, that gap is expected to grow exponentially.

Look at the graph. The Wall Street Journal is the only center-right media on the graph (but only their editorial board), so the results are somewhat predictable. But the Washington Post, New York Times, and Los Angeles Times have long been bellwethers of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Even they are reporting Biden's astonishing age-related decline, both mentally and physically at this point, orders of magnitude more than they are reporting Trump's.
Because it is a plain and undeniable truth. There is no more room for excuses here than there is for a man to turn into a woman. Biden continues to freeze, collapse and wander, and the pace seems to be getting worse. Overwhelming Concerns Americans on all sides of the political spectrum had their worst fears, and last night's debate made their worst fears come true.
This was likely a pressure tactic to get the media to stop reporting on Biden's age: “You're either with us or against us. Come back to the good guys.”
But it's too late to turn back the clock. Biden's fate was sealed in the debate. If he continues to campaign, and that's a big “if,” the media will be forced to continue reporting on his misery. No amount of media blaming can convince the American people that the man sitting in the Oval Office is young and healthy. In fact, he may not even know where he is.
