Obama Speaks Out Following Biden’s Dismal Debate Performance

Former President Barack Obama defended President Joe Biden on Twitter Friday afternoon following the president's terrible performance in Thursday's debate.

Obama Admitted Biden struggled in his match against Trump. “There are bad debate nights, believe me, I know,” he wrote. Following the concession, he urged voters to support the president and contrasted him with his rival, saying Biden “has fought for ordinary people his whole life” while Trump “only thinks about himself.”

The former president remains a major influence within the Democratic Party, and many party members looked to him for leadership as Biden's proposed transition surged to the forefront of the national debate on Tuesday. Further speculation about President Obama's potential stance came this afternoon. Tweet Posted by hedge fund manager Doug Kass report According to Fox News, the tweet said that “conversations” between Biden, Obama and Klain would take place on Friday, and that Mrs Biden is adamant that her husband continue to run for office, with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Gov. Gavin Newsom being front-runners to succeed him.

For now, Obama is standing behind his former right-hand man.
