Yavapai County, Arizona — Three men have been arrested in Yavapai County on suspicion of child sex trafficking, authorities said.
Authorities said detectives with the Cooperative Drug Trafficking Task Force arrested Edgar Martinez, of Prescott Valley, Brennan McGuire, of Phoenix and James Price, of Prescott, in three separate incidents for allegedly trying to meet with young women in exchange for money.
PANT detectives found that Price had sent lewd photos to the young girl and agreed to meet up, authorities said. Maguire allegedly agreed to engage in sexual acts with a minor, and Martinez allegedly agreed to engage in sex acts with young women in exchange for money.
Authorities say the men face multiple charges, including child sex trafficking and abduction of a minor.
“These cases are an example of YCSO's strong stance and ongoing efforts to stop child trafficking. Adults who sexually prey on children should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Sheriff David Rose said in a Facebook post.
