Michael LaRosa, a former press secretary for First Lady Jill Biden, on Sunday blasted former Biden White House communications director Kate Bedingfield on social media for “gaslighting” Democrats and the media.
Despite widespread panic among Democrats following Biden's performance in Thursday's debate, Bedingfield told CNN's Dana Bash on “State of the Union” Sunday morning that “the race hasn't fundamentally changed.”
LaRosa slammed Bedingfield for pointing to “data” that proves 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is “politically weak.” (RELATED: 'He shit the bed': Bill Maher slams Biden for 'confused and stagnant' debate performance)
“Data? Where is the data that counters the impact of what we saw? What are you waiting for? Show it to me! I'm so sick of the gaslighting, talking points and bullshit propaganda. Enough already,” LaRosa wrote to X in response to a video posted by former CNN correspondent Brian Stelter.
DATA?! WHERE THE HELL IS THE DATA THAT COUNTERS THE EFFECTS OF WHAT WE ALL SAW??? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? SHOW ME! I'm so sick of the gaslighting, talking points and bullshit propaganda. Enough already.

“Show this data to your supporters and the media so we can help you guys help him!” he continued. “You've been saying for a year that the data and polls can't be trusted… No one's paying attention… And all the polls and data can't be trusted. Should we believe it now? You've been disparaging all public data and polls for a year and attacking the press and their independent data! Is it safe to trust the data now? Should we trust your data and not independent media data and polls? Ok, fine.”
“WHERE THE HELL IS IT?” the First Lady's former press secretary concluded in capital letters.
According to NBC News, the Biden family is scheduled to meet with Biden on Sunday to discuss the future of the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024. A source told the outlet that Jill Biden holds the “ultimate influence” over Biden's reelection bid and that a change of policy would come “if she makes a decision.”
