Nate Silver Calls Dems ‘F*cking Cowards’ Who ‘Should Be Shunned From Public’ For Not Speaking Out About Biden

In a podcast posted to YouTube on Sunday, pollster Nate Silver called some Democrats who are not informing the public about President Joe Biden's mental health as “incredible cowards who should be removed from office.”

Biden spoke huskily and stuttered during Thursday's debate with former President Donald Trump, raising concerns about his age and fitness to serve another term.Risky Business” called on Biden to back down and said Democrats should be punished for keeping quiet about the president’s competency. “Trump still has that political animal instinct that I don't think Biden has anymore,” Silver said. “He couldn't say the lines, he couldn't say the closing statements. And you know, as you get older, there are days when you act like you used to, maybe half the time, two-thirds, three-quarters of the time. Or maybe most of your life. But as the president of the United States, if you're trying to serve another four years in office, that's not enough.”

“It's just irresponsible, and frankly, anybody in the White House who isn't speaking out publicly about this should be kept out of the public eye,” he continued. “Seriously, some of them have written huge magazine exposés, they've got book deals, and they're just cowards. If you're in the White House and you think you're a patriot, come forward and tell us who Joe Biden really is. There's no way you're going to get a book deal two years later and say something you've known all this time. If you're not going to speak out about him or defend him or say, 'Look, I'm going to be honest with you and tell you it's not that bad,' then you're just a coward. And that's fine, but there are a lot of cowards in the Democratic Party.”

After the debate, The New York Times editorial board urged Biden to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, and any attempt to replace the president with another Democratic candidate would likely face practical, political and even legal obstacles.

Silver called on Biden to consider withdrawing after his poll numbers slumped in June. post As for X, he said that while the president's withdrawal would be a big risk, remaining in the race could be even riskier.

“Biden's approval rating hit an all-time low yesterday at 538% (37.4%),” Silver posted. “Withdrawing is a big risk, but below that level staying in the race becomes an even bigger risk. Are we there yet? I don't know, but it's fair to ask.”

“In my opinion, [in my opinion] “Democrats would have been better off if Biden had decided a year ago not to seek a second term. That would have allowed for a process like a primary election, which would have given voters a voice among many popular Democrats across the country,” he said. Added.
