Rapper Waka Flocka Flame urged fans at his concert at Club Sky in Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday to leave if they were “Joe Biden supporters.”

In 2021, President Trump presented the rapper with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his humanitarian work. according to Newsweek magazine. Flocka first endorsed Trump's 2024 campaign in October 2023.

Flocka isn't the only Republican-leaning rapper: Newsweek reports that a recently formed coalition called “Black Americans for Trump” includes a variety of rappers, athletes, and entertainers who support Trump, including rappers Kodak Black and Sexy Redd.
Sexy Red said in 2023 that Trump has freed Black people from prison and given Americans “that free money,” a reference to Trump's support for stimulus checks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“When he got black people out of prison and started giving free money to people. Oh baby we love Trump…we need him back baby for that check” Sexy Red Said While appearing on comedian Theo Vuong's podcast.
“We have to bring him back,” she added.
