Wild Video Shows Nudist Save Tourist From Blowtorch Wielding Attacker

A video circulating on social media shows nudists rescuing a tourist in California from an attacker wielding a burner.

Two nudists, Pete Sfera and Lloyd Fishback, were walking down the streets of San Francisco's Castro district on July 2 when they came across a “crazy pirate-like man” threatening a man. according to San Francisco Standard (SFS).

A video shared on Facebook shows Sfera standing off to the side while on the phone, while a man holding a burner confronts another man.

A bystander then sneaks up behind the suspect and quickly grabs the burner from his hand, who then attacks the tourist as he runs away with the burner.

As the suspect continues to walk towards the tourists, who can be seen covering their faces, another nudist, Fishback, jumps into action and punches the suspect.

“My friend Lloyd is a quiet, polite guy,” Sfera told SFS, “but he didn't waste any time and finished him off with a right hook.”

Sfera told media his friend Fishback was the “hero” of the incident. He told SFS that he and at least two other passers-by called the police after the altercation began. (RELATED: Video shows man brandishing frying pan to fight off robber).

Petros Fanourgiakis, owner of a nearby shop, told SFS that the man “threatened to burn tourists' faces.”

The suspect has been identified as Zero Triball, a San Francisco police spokesperson told SFS. Triball is reportedly in custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

The 38-year-old man had a history of causing trouble in the Castro district, the outlet reported.

“He's known in the neighborhood as a troublemaker,” Terri Asten Bennett, president of the Castro Merchants Association, told SFS. “He's volatile and violent.”

Bennett told the outlet that Tribole had broken into her store several years ago, yelling at employees and throwing merchandise. A nearby country club had obtained a restraining order against the 38-year-old man after he threatened to kill the club's executive director and burn down the building, club manager Brandon Stanton told SFS.
