County Attorney Dennis McGrane said, “The management who work in the County Attorney's Office are the heart and soul of this office. While our prosecutors often receive public attention when dangerous criminals are put behind bars or elderly victims or children are rescued from dangerous situations, the accomplishments of this office are firmly rooted in the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our litigators and other support staff. Ashley Rodriguez joined the office as a high school student 20 years ago and has never failed to excel. Ashley represents the best of our work and I congratulate her on her well-deserved award.”

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has had a distinguished career of at least 18 years in the Prosecutor's Office, who has made significant contributions to the protection of public safety and the administration of justice, and whose career embodies the highest standards of dedication and commitment to the profession. Due to the nature of this award, it may not be presented every year.

Rodriguez began working for the County Attorney's Office as a clerk trainee and court clerk while still in high school. Since then, Rodriguez has worked in nearly every division of the department, excelling in each assignment due to her legendary work ethic, thorough knowledge of the department's functions, and problem-solving abilities. Currently, Rodriguez serves as the lead litigator in the department's fast-paced prosecution division, where her management skills, experience, and diligence ensure that case filing deadlines are never missed and justice is upheld for the community.
